Asian Stocks Fall for Third Day; Financial Companies Lead Drop
By Kyung Bok Cho and Chua Kong Ho
Nov. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks fell for a third day, led by financial companies and commodity producers, as Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. planned to raise cash and Oz Minerals Ltd. said earnings may decline.

KB Financial Group Inc., the owner of South Korea's biggest bank, led declines in Seoul, losing 4.2 percent to 28,850 won. Samsung C&T Corp., the nation's second-largest builder, fell 4.4 percent to 37,000 won.
Third-quarter profit at the 30 biggest Kospi-listed companies tracked by UBS dropped 62 percent from a year earlier because of a decline in the won and weakness in industries such as finance and construction, the brokerage said in report. South Korean households and companies may have to go through a ``long period'' of de-leveraging, which will sap consumption and cut spending, it said.
